A graduate of Kalamazoo Christian High School, 1949. Attended Western Michigan University and was a graduate of Wayne State College of Mortuary Science, 1955. Served in the U.S. Army from 1952- 1954 and was stationed in Verdun, France and Kaiserslautern, Germany. Member of Zion Lutheran Church, Michigan Funeral Directors Association, and Rotary Club 1976-1993. Father of two sons, Howard and Daniel; two daughters, Rosemary and Brenda; three stepsons, John, James and Thomas Bennett; three grandchildren and six step-grandchildren. | |

Partner in the operation of Langeland Family Funeral Homes, since 1960 passed away on April 25, 2002 at the age of 63. Ken is survived by his wife Joyce, daughter Lori Langeland Wajszczuk, son Tod W. Langeland, and 6 grandchildren. | |

Graduate of Kalamazoo Christian High School, did pre-mortuary science study at Western Michigan University, graduated from Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science in 1960. Member of the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, Michigan Funeral Directors Association. Past-President of Kalamazoo Sertoma Club, Member of Heritage Christian Reformed Church. Married to the former Bonnie Ewing, son Greg Langeland and daughter Lisa Baas are both active in the operation of the family funeral homes. | |
| Tod W. Langeland- Licensed Funeral Director
Graduate of Kalamazoo Christian High School, Western Michigan University, and Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Served as an Infantry officer in the US Army, stationed in Korea and Ft. Benning, GA. Member of Michigan Funeral Directors Association, Kalamazoo Downtown Kiwanis Club, Western Michigan University ROTC Alumni Association, and the Association of the United States Army. Lives in Kalamazoo with his wife, Renee and two hounds, Ike and Sam. | |
